Hirigoyen warrants that all goods promoted for sale on this website are of satisfactory quality before we deliver them to you. Whilst we take care to ensure the descriptions, designs and colours are correct; product representations may vary from what you see on the computer you use to visit our online store.

Hirigoyen uses its best endeavours to ensure products displayed for sale on our website and ordered are available for delivery. If a product is unavailable, we will usually notify you prior to you completing your order. However, you acknowledge that in some cases this is not possible and Hirigoyen may need to reject an order you have placed for a product where Hirigoyen establishes that it is actually unavailable for delivery. In such cases Hirigoyen will refund in full all amounts you paid in respect of such unavailable product.
Hirigoyen cannot provide rainchecks for products ordered on our site, and as far as it is permitted by law, reserves the right to limit the sale of products to reasonable or normal household quantities.
We will not pass on your personal information and email address to any third party. We only send emails to people from whom we have had contact. Maybe you purchased a watch from us, maybe you created an account on our website or entered in one of the competitions through one of our digital channels. All our emails offer an unsubscribe link and if you request to unsubscribe, we promise to remove you from our mailing list.
We absolutely do not store any credit or debit card details. They are yours. We promise to keep everything secure and private.
Our return policy is in addition to the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under this policy and our obligations to you.
Change of mind
We get that everyone is entitled to change their mind. If you wish to return a full priced item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, Hirigoyen will offer you an exchange or refund provided that:
- You return the item within 14 days of purchase;
- You produce your proof of purchase at the time you return the item;
- The item is in resalable condition including that:
- It is in its original packaging, and with the protective film intact; and
- It is unopened, unused and in its original condition.
- If these requirements are not satisfied Hirigoyen reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind returns.
Hirigoyen will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange, refund or repair where:
- The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality, or
- The product significantly does not match our description (slight variances do not count);
- You notify us by email of the defect within 14 days of discovering the defect; and
- You can present adequate proof of purchase.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage (if applicable). You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
- Your original receipt emailed to you at the time of purchase is the best form of proof of purchase.
- Refunds will be issued using your original payment method.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in the movement of the watch only. The warranty does not cover general wear and tear, including scratches, chips, changes in colour to the leather band or any other ordinary changes.
The warranty also doesn’t cover products that haven’t been cared for properly. For example, if the watch has been dropped or exposed to water. Care for your watch properly.
Warranty decisions are at our sole discretion of us and we can refuse claims under warranty if they do not meet our conditions and criteria. During the warranty period, at our discretion, we’ll repair or replace any defective parts or the whole watch. We do this free of charge.
HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT
Products ordered from us can be returned to us at the address provided below. You will need your tax invoice (email receipt) as information on this is needed as proof of purchase. For change of mind return/exchange, delivery fee is non-refundable.
Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email confirmation advising that your refund has been processed to your original method of payment. This may take some time, depending on your bank.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund when you expected it, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us using the email address given below.
If the item was a gift and the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he or she will find out about your return.
SHIPPING OF RETURNS
To return your product, print off this form and send the completed form along with your product to the address given below, together with proof of purchase.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable for change of mind returns.
We don't refund the original shipping costs in the case of an unsuccessful claim under warranty. For minor defects, you will be responsible to pay for the shipping costs incurred to return your watch to us. For major defects, we will refund this cost to you. We always provide free shipping on your replacement watch.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
Unfortunately we are unable to complete warranty exchanges on watches that are lost in transit to us. We recommend you use a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot and do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
We will try our utmost to make sure that delivery takes place in accordance with the specified delivery times. However, failure to meet the delivery target shall not entitle you to terminate the purchase or obtain a refund, unless the failure is due to some fault of Hirigoyen. It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery details are correct and sufficiently complete that delivery can occur.
We generally ship same or next business day. Orders within Australia take between 1-5 business days. Sometimes 7. Depends whereabouts you live. International delivery can take between 7-21 days. All watches require a signature on delivery. We therefore recommend you have your order shipped to the location where you are during business hours. (Otherwise you may end up having to collect it from your local post office).
We ship our product internationally.

CUSTOMS DUTIES, LEVIES OR TAXES
You are solely responsible for any customs rates or duty and import tax charged within your own country. Double check with your local government if you have any questions about customs, duties or local taxes before placing your order.
If you wish to cancel or amend your order, please contact us by emailing us at the email address below as soon as possible after placing your order. We are unable cancel orders that have already been shipped. If your watch has indeed already been shipped to you, we suggest viewing our returns and exchanges policy.
We are also unable to add items to your order. Just create a new order. Simple.
PROMOTIONS AND GIVEAWAYS
From time to time we like to provide you with promotional offers, including sales, discount codes and giveaways. Any such promotion will only run for a limited time and be subject to additional terms and conditions.
If you are using a discount code at checkout, this needs to be entered correctly. Once you have submitted a purchase, you may only cancel a transaction in accordance with our terms and conditions, and by then your discount code may have expired. We recommend you double check your discount codes for this reason.
PRICES, PAYMENT AND CURRENCY
All prices listed are inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).
All Hirigoyen watches are priced in Australian Dollars and you will be charged at the relevant conversion rate. We update the rate twice daily to give you the most accurate and up to date converted price.
The cardholder will be responsible for the currency conversions from Australian Dollars to your local currency. You will be responsible for any conversion fees associated with this.
We take payment via PayPal or by credit card and debit card. Card details are checked and double checked securely by the payment gateway, and your watch will be dispatched once authorisation has been obtained.
Please pay in full. We don’t accept partial payments or lay-by. If any such payment issue occurs you will be notified and have the opportunity to make another payment attempt.
We have the right to alter our prices at any time. Things change in life. So do watch prices.
Apart from guarantees that may not be excluded by law, Hirigoyen, its staff and owners take no responsibility for any damage or harm that may come from products bought from this website.
